It’s always difficult to hear that anyone in the OLSCDE family is going through something terrible and difficult, especially when it also means we’ve lost someone so lovely. When we became aware of the incredibly challenging experience that the Alexander Family was having, we wanted to support them in any way we could.
After losing mom and wife Dinah to cancer at the beginning of September, the Alexander Family were left with exorbitant medical bills. The sadness and grief are more than any one family should have to deal with- but bills are truly an unfair addition, albeit a stark reality of the world we live in. Thankfully, a gofundme was set up to help alleviate some of that financial burden. (https://www.gofundme.com/f/x3nvs-the-alexander-family)
When the Anfield Shop heard the story, they agreed to donate the proceeds of an entire day of shopping to assist the family in getting to their monetary goal.
We were so blown away by this offer, and so grateful to them. Their donation was even given anonymously. But we wanted to both publicly thank them, as well as continue to make our community aware of the link to donate.
They are halfway to their goal, but could certainly use whatever you’re able to give. We send the Alexander Family- Gregg, and their two beautiful children- our sincere condolences.
