#FirstStateKopites has a new format with guests Daz, from OLSC Baltimore and Ben for OLSC Des Moines. Although we should say, these are our own opinions – not those of Liverpool FC.. This week, we cover the last 8 days and look ahead another 7 days – some highlights… o Ben offers the optimistic perspective on VVD being out for months – we can buy in to that. o Daz offers the upside of Alisson Becker being in goal – essentially, he’s not a Labrador puppy o Ancelotti’s comment that ‘to lose a player like Digne for three games is not fair’ got a bit of a reaction from the team today. Does that mean losing your best defender for 6 months is fair? o We talked a lot about 4-2-3-1 and the challenges of that formation first time around, and the potential it offers in the future with Thiago, Matip and Keita available. o It will be different going forward without VVD, need to win more second balls if we don’t win the same number of open headers. o Two wins in the next week would set us up perfectly for the Atalanta UCL game and then Man City away. Big thank you to Tim and Charlie for helping us develop the podcast to where it got to today. Hope to see them on future episodes. Going forward we will definitely be lacking on several perspectives – Bundesliga, being in Madrid and the view from south east pennsylvania – #YNWA #OLSC302
