Welcome to the latest edition. We are joined by Haitham and Justin. Recording this after the Leeds United game on April 19th, 2021. In a week, where on the field the Reds served up a decent performance last Wednesday night, which wasn’t enough to advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League, and after the draw Leeds United today we have just 6 matches left to finish in the Top 4. It is probably off the field that is currently grabbing most of the headlines – so yes we devote some time to the European Super League.
In the review of the games, we assess where Liverpool are right now. Whose stock is rising and is there anyone who is going backwards?
Then onto the big news of yesterday’s announcement of the European Super League – we try to understand what’s going on and assess the outcry it has generated. And share our own views of the proposals (as far as we understand them).
It was also the 32nd anniversary of the Hillsborough last week, and the news broke that the families have decided to shut down the family support group.
