Welcome to the First State Kopites. It’s episode 9 of season 3 – a podcast for Liverpool supporters in Delaware and friends of Liverpool supporters in Delaware. Thanks for listening on your preferred platform, we are available on ALL of them.

This week we are joined by Jake Lota – who leads the Toronto supporters club. And by Haitham and Daz one more time.

We talk about Jake’s story:

  • The story of the Toronto supporters club
  • How he became a Liverpool fan and his favorite LFC memory?

Week gone by:

Norwich – seems a while ago. Lots of bright spots – Taki and Divock

Brentford:

  • Lots of reactions. Some heads lost on social media
  • Klopp’s record against teams he plays twice….
  • The defence, the midfield, the ability to deal with the long ball.
  • Spurned chances?
  • Liverpool conceded and Arlo White on NBC is describing Liverpool  as shell shocked. Equalize within 5 minutes – pretty sure that’s not the definition of shell-shocked.

Week ahead:

  • Porto – team selection, expectations – 5-0 and 4-1 in our last 2 visits. Feels like a much tougher test this time.
  • Man City – biggest game in a long time, it has meaning and it will have crowds. We share hopes and expectations, acknowledging that City looked good at Chelsea….

Thanks to all our guests – if you enjoyed the podcast, share it with a friend. Follow us on Twitter  – we only tweet and re-tweet from sources we think are credible.
